PARK & RIDE LOCATIONS
A growing national trend for commuters is the use of centralized Park & Ride facilities. Park & Ride lots provide a common location where commuters can park their cars and easily transfer to transit, a carpool or vanpool to finish the ride to work. Bus Service is also available at the Palm Bay and Viera Park & Ride lots. Brevard County has three Park & Ride lots, and all of them are FREE! Employers save money by encouraging employees to use Park & Ride lots because it reduces the need to provide expensive on-site parking. Employers can also save money on payroll taxes by providing employees with up to $230 per month in tax-free transit and vanpool benefits.
